What is a boudoir photoshoot?
Boudoir is a sexy, sensual photoshoot designed to help you feel confident and look gorgeous.
I’m super nervous - I’ve never done anything like this before!
It’s ok to be nervous! Doing something out of your comfort zone can bring out the nerves … but that's also part of the fun of a boudoir photoshoot, right? We'll be with you every step of the way!
I’m a curvy girl - can you make me look good?
ABSOLUTELY! We specialize in creating beautiful boudoir portraits of every woman. Check out our portfolio for examples of stunning women at every age and every size!
Is makeup and hair styling included?
Yes! Professional makeup and hair styling is included with every session at our studio for no extra cost. This includes airbrush makeup and faux lashes.
Will you retouch my acne/ wrinkles/ cellulite?
You're beautiful just the way you are. If you’d like photoshopping, we are happy to retouch your boudoir photos at no extra charge. Check out examples of our photo retouching here.
Will my images be kept private?
YES! Your experience at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio will be 100% private. We will only share your images if you sign a photo release after your photoshoot.
What do I need to bring to my shoot? What about waxing, tanning, nails? Can I bring my boyfriend’s football jersey?
Plan to bring at least one lingerie outfit to be photographed in. We also have lots of wardrobe items and props available at the studio to accessorize your outfits, including shoes in sizes 5-11. We’ll send you a detailed prep guide before your shoot with everything else you’ll need to know about getting ready.
What is the turn-around time on photos?
You will get to see a slideshow of your boudoir photos right after your shoot - before you leave the studio! Allow 5-7 business days for image retouching (photoshopping) and 2-4 weeks for shipping on albums and prints. Rush service available for a fee.
Can I get a digital download from my photoshoot?
YES! We digital downloads are available for purchase after your photoshoot. The digital images that you purchase will be delivered to you via a password-protected link.
How much does a boudoir shoot cost?
The session fee is $399 which includes professional hair and makeup and includes 3-4 hours at the studio for your photoshoot experience. Right after your shoot - while you're still at the studio - you'll get to see the photos and decide what you'll want to purchase. We offer luxury albums, framed wall art, and digital downloads in collections starting at $999.
Where is the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio located?
We are in the heart of Winnetka’s downtown shopping district at 896 Green Bay Road, Suite 12, Winnetka IL 60093.
What are the studio hours?
We are open Monday-Saturday 9AM - 7PM.
